EAA972 Ex-protected bi-pin fluorescent lamps are Exe designed, suitable for Zone 1/ Zone 21 where there are presence of flammable vapours, gases or combustible dusts. With the corrosion, impact & UV-resistance properties, it is an excellent choice for Marine and Offshore platforms under extreme corrosive environments.
Enclosure: Glass-fibre reinforced polyester, 7J impact-resistant. Protective cover: Polycarbonate, 4J impact resistant. Highly corrosion, impact and UV resistant. Double sided safety lock. Electronic ballast with EOL protection complying to the latest standards. Interlocking switch isolate supply to the individual luminaries for safe re-lamping without disrupting the entire circuit. Hinged diffuser for ease in maintenance where lamps could be temporarily stored on the diffuser for quick re-lamping. Cost effective internal battery. Central lock locking mechanism, the housing and the protective bowl are securely locked by means of a locking mechanism on both sides that features 10 latch points.
